St. George spends real weeks of the year above 105 degrees. At that ambient, a condenser that is ten percent fouled stops being a maintenance note and starts being a shutdown — head pressure climbs, the compressor trips on high side, and a walk-in full of product goes soft during the hottest part of the afternoon. Equipment specified for a milder climate simply doesn't survive down here without somebody watching it.
Add red dust that loads coils faster than anywhere else we work, and a visitor economy that swings volume hard between shoulder season and peak.
